Jade & Dan

Married at Portsmouth Registry Office

Followed by a Reception at Southwick Park Golf Club

We had the beautiful bride getting ready at her parents home in Denmead, together with both mums and the two flower girls. It was a wonderful warm sunny day on 14th September.  The kitchen was busy with hair and make up for everyone, so I popped upstairs to also photo the dresses, shoes and other wedding day pretty bits and pieces! It was more of a very happy relaxed house, no signs of stress at all, at the moment anyway!

The bride had a lovely idea of some photos with the flower girls playing with some balloons, it was a delight to photo! The bride joined in too. Then some slightly more formal portraits were taken once everyone was ready. Next, I dashed off to see the groom and guests arriving at the Portsmouth Registry Office.

There were some really personal touches at this wedding. The bride had bought some special cuff links for her husband to be, and the ring cushion was hand made and of special value to the family. On into the traditional ceremony...

We had quite a few natural and formal photos in the gardens at the registry Office, and some guests had confetti too - one of my favourite times!

We all headed off to the Southwick Park Golf Club, and Jade, Dan and I left the guests to drink and mingle while we did the romantic couple photos.

The reflection images are taken using a mirror - there is no lake! The umbrella photo was a special request, following the same photo the brides parents had from their wedding day...

I do like to include the flower bouquet photo, as well as the wedding rings one. I did take some more with the cuff links and button holes too.

We did a mock cake cutting, as I was hired only until the end of the meal and speeches, so the cake would be cut later in the evening.

A fabulous wedding, great venue, brilliant weather and about 40 guests.

Jade & Dan had 380 finished wedding photos from their special day.
